We are currently looking for a FT day-shift LPN in our Neuro Stroke Unit at Grand Strand Medical Center. 

3 East / 3 Medical (Neuro Stroke)is a comprehensive 40 bed neuro unit. Our Team here is highly dedicated and compassionate. We are a fast paced unit which operates on the principle that the patient always comes first. Our resources focus on the patient experience from our nurse to patient ratios to the equipment to do the job right and efficiently.

What you will do in this role: 

• You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients as directed by the RN 

• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders 

• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing 

• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State LPN license 

• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
