Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and instrument specialist to provide technical support to patients of all populations. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. · You will maintain a clean, well-stocked, hazard free work area.

· You will demonstrate awareness of infection control and safety protocols

· You will communicate information concerning instruments and equipment to the OR Nursing staff through correct/complete count sheets.

· You will be the instrument liaison for surgeons and staff.

· You will assist SPD and OR leadership with staff education.

Requirements:

Certified Instrument Specialist, or Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT)
