Job Summary and Qualifications

• Bachelors in Science and/or Masters in Science from school of Physical Therapy: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in appropriate healthcare setting; Supervisory experience preferred
• Current State of Florida Physical Therapy license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
•  Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

What qualifications you will need:

• You will collaborate with the Director/Manager to model, foster and drive a patient focused culture through ensuring service excellence "must haves" are practiced and hardwired within assigned areas.
• You will need to operate in multiple work environments; proactively provide assistance within scope of practice in ensuring physician can easily access and utilize services.
• You will ensure unit is actively engaged in responding promptly to patient needs and call lights as appropriate.
•  You will acknowledge patients appropriately, introducing yourself and others. You will explain the purpose of visit and communicate anticipated duration to enhance patient experience.
