In Acute Rehab, patients receive a higher intensity of treatment than in a skilled nursing facility. Work with a multi-disciplinary team of other disciplines (occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy) to assist patients recover after a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury or other event that has affected their ability to live as they have been living.

As a Rehab Registered Nurse at our facility you will performing a variety of treatments, procedures and administering a variety of medications. You will be joining a team that has a passion for creating positive patient interactions and a dedication to caring for the multi-faceted wellness of those we serve.
In this role:
The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318 plus patient beds. We serve as the region’s healthcare provider and serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts of Montana. EIRMC is home to a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only emergency room in Idaho Falls. We have the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. We offer inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults at its 74-bed Behavioral Health Center.
