Clinical Rehab Specialist work with patients of all ages, and their families or caregivers, soon after the onset of a disabling injury or chronic illness. They restore patients' lives so they have freedom and independence again. They work with other healthcare team members including physiatrists, RNs, OTs, PTs, neuropsychiatrists, and speech therapists.

• 17 private rooms for comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation

Responsibilities:

• The Clinical Rehab Specialist works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and is responsible for clinical review and coordination of admissions (including patient assessments and pre-certifications), as well as assisting administration with marketing and business development of the Rehabilitation program. 

What Qualifications You Will Need: 

• RN, RN-CRRN required or PT, OT, SLP, valid Louisiana Driver’s license.
• College graduate or equivalent:  Bachelors degree, masters preferred.
• 1-3 years in-patient Rehab experience preferred.
